Extremely chuffed to announce that Motorhomecraic and Motorhome Parking Ireland have been nominated and shortlisted for an award at the NI Tourism Awards , Category: Most Impactful Digital Innovation Award

Myself and John (FC) attended the final judging this morning were we had to do a presentation and explain in more detail everything that we do and are now awaiting results etc.

For me personally I do not need to win a thing, the fact that we have been shortlisted is good enough for me. I am extremely chuffed and excited.

Something more has came of our meetings and involvement, we have opened a door, a very big door, into discussions with Tourism NI, whom in their own words, want to discuss further in detail Motorhome Tourism in NI. We will inform you more of that as we go along but we look forward to good things for Motorhome tourism. This is going to make a huge difference to Motorhome tourism in Ireland, North & South.

Very well done, but just as important, I want to go on record to thank you for all the work and effort you put in for all of us members!

It's been great learning all I need to know.

A year ago I was a complete novice to the Motorhome world and without this site I wouldn't be much further on. I've learnt a lot, and more importantly met a lot of great people. Keep up the great work!

A brilliant job and it a great accolade to be shortlisted. By the fact that you are now in a Tourism NI final will give you a bit more leverage and creditability when you are dealing with local authorities across the whole island.
Onwards and upwards for MH parking.

That is a marvellous acheivement! There are so many motorhomers who are extremely grateful for all the hard work and long hours you've both dedicated to the app and to motorhoming in Ireland. Perhaps the biggest reward will be what comes of the foot in Tourism NI's door! A heartfelt thank you from us all!

Well done Ally and John and all involved. Hopefully this will increase the profile of MHC and motorhoming. Even a cursory glance at these pages will show how popular our hobby is and the massive potential for tourism both North and South from improving facilities replicating what we all find on our travels around Europe. Onwards and upwards
