Google Map for small vans

Hi all since we downgraded our van last year to a smaller van we find it a lot easier to go places that would be harder to get to with a lager van.
We now tend to go more places, and explore more well out of the way places in the sticks.

So I have created this google Map for people with small vans, only 19 or so points on it at the min but I will add more as time allows.
You can also get directions via Google Maps see photo.

***I must stress Most points will not be suitable for Coach built Motorhomes****
Have fun and enjoy.

Could just "Add POI" on the App and put a disclaimer in "small vans only" :-/

Hi Robert,
I would class one of these to be a small camper. Very easy to drive on narrow roads without scraping the bushes when you meet lorries on bends Etc. https://www.donedeal.ie/camper…ns/2622598
The amount of time I have been trying to take scrapes out after meeting busses & lorries was unbelevable a right pain in the Ass.

Nice shot of Bannow drive on the heading.
So the sites, they might be suitable for our LWB Sprinter ?

I have one of the larger vans (5 berth Swift Royale) and I must say that I've been to most of those places :P

With a little bit of patient and a backup camera or good co-pilot (or both) you can make it happen.

The more rural it gets, the more tractor will be and if a tractor fits, it's no bother for the van :D

I Agree, you can reverse and I can reverse, :D :P , but not every one can that’s why I put in the warnings.

Once when I was up near Tramore in Co. Donegal I went down one of these roads,I met “paddy joe” on his tractor not a problem, but then three seconds later an artic appears up behind the tractor with a mobil home on it not my lucky day so far. :D. So you can guess who had to back up, no problem “say”s I” only 1.5 miles and 20 mins later and no camera I got to a place wide enough for me to pull in. lol lol :D :'( .
So I gave both tractor and lorry a big wave. Then said to Mr’s off we go again only to hear, No,no no you’re not going down that road again. So I told her to put on the kettle and well have a cup of tea, after 10 mins to our surprise along comes a break down truck with a car on it. lol lol.

P.s I haven’t put this one on the map yet lol, only one of many like this. I didn’t want to miss inform anyone and let them make the call to go or not.

At the End of it...

Jayus, I better pack the chainsaw for that trip.
Rural roads never bother me, it just the gob@#$% who use them and don't keep in or reverse. A little bit of patience helps alot.

Great idea.
We have a small van and are noticing in the last year or two that the bigger spots are jam packed with huge motorhomes with barely a fag paper of space between them!
