Hi all. Can anyone tell me about parking at Bunratty Castle? I see a P.O.I is on the app that appears to be behind Dirty Nelly’s but I am a little confused as to where exactly, considering the suggestion to not park in the car park, yet other posts on this site mention a car park. As well as the fact that there are car parks on the opposite side to Dirty Nelly’s also.

Cheers

No problem at all parking in car park for the castle. Just park down the back out of the way. Dirty nellies is good for food and to wind up the Americans 😜. I stay there quite often this time of year and never a problem

Couple of good spots around. Pub and restaurant about 500mts up from nellies, leaving castle on your right. Can’t think of the name. Behind a green area. V good too. Hoping to make that festival myself. Was there for bluegrass at end of October. V good.
Enjoy.

I never had for bluegrass festivals anyway. Or in sixmilebridge, although not as much room there. In bunratty you can also park behind woolen mills, or Even along side of road up towards JP Clarke’s....😳that’s the name of the other pub I couldn’t remember... Doh.
Always a good buzz around and the folk park is well worth a visit, even though a bit pricey at €16 per adult. Think they do family deals.
Go for it would be my advice
