Can't comment on the DS5 but had a C5 1.6Hdi 110 and loved it. Model did not have the hydrostatic suspension, but still very comfortable to drive, braked brilliantly and 100% reliable. Very economical giving exactly 5.0 l/100Km over my 80,000Km. Only prob. was corrosion in the cables in the window regulators causing them to snap. Common prob. in C5.
Citroen Resale Value isn't as good as equivalent Toyotas, VW, Fords etc. but may not be a major issue if buying used.
Sorry nothing specific on the DS5.

The DS5 is a great car all round and even though it doesn’t have the Citroen suspension it is very comfortable but not as comfortable as the C6. If you are buying 2nd hand make sure it has a service record and I would also go for the automatic. I would not buy a new car as the depreciation is far too high. There’s a good selection of DS5s around so you should have no trouble getting a good one. If you have any trouble I know a very good independent Citroen dealer who could source you one. I hope this has been helpful.

If it had full service history and a straight car it was at the right price. I think he may have realised that he priced it too low and hence took it off? Keep a look out and see if the car reappears at a higher price?

I think your right. It was advertised at £7500 first, then dropped to 7k, had a service history. Probably just changed his mind, will keep looking.
