Once we get our van back and its ready to fly like the wind all over Ireland, we are getting it sprayed.
The thing is, although I have a couple of ideas of colour, I would like to see how the van would look first.
Does anyone know of an app or programme that allows you superimpose a colour on a photo of the camper? I know it sounds like a strange request, but there must be something out there. I have tried getting a photo and colouring it using the crayon type yoke on the computer, but its sh*te.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Dethletts have a range of different coloured Motorhomes....to get an idea.
Are you thinking neutral or vibrant colour?

The Van wrap people have a program where they can show you what your design looks like before the wrap it, so they probably could show you what it would look like in different livery. I'm sure there be a cost but if you had a close idea of what you want it might be worth it before you shell the euros.

I would be interested to hear about the approximate cost of a respray. I am thinking of getting mine done in the spring. It’s not bad but there are scuffed patches on it, where I am guessing the previous owners had a cover on it that wasn’t tight and it rubbed on the sides. It’s only really noticeable on a bright sunny day, but annoys the bejaysus out of me

I have on my PC a programme which I believe would be of use to you.
It is a desktop publishing one which allows you to design anything you like and in any colours.
you can add a photo of whatever you want from your collection and draw on it, paint graphics upon it or add or detract from it.
Before I retired I designed a threefold leaflet and had it professionally printed for my business.

My programme is old now but a newer version should still be available; Serif Page Plus is the name,
You will enjoy using it when you get to grips with it,
Have fun.

If you put up a picture or two and which colors you would like to try, I can probably photoshop it to give you an idea. Won't be perfect, but I'll say that it'll be good enough to have a quick peak of what it might look like.

Cheers,
Rami

Probably not the shades you would have chosen but it sort of gives the idea.
Why not respray with the original colours and replace the graphics with the same again too? It could look fresh and original.

I would agree with Mark, Changing the appearance can devalue it. personally I wouldn't buy a Motorhome unless it looked the same as it was when new.

I had a P.V.C (Trigano Tribute ) sprayed ,cost me near £2000 and done by my next door neighbour who has a spray shop. Not an easy job to do unless you have a full strip-down overall i was pleased with result but for a complete strip down it would have cost a fortune .(£2000 was bad enough). 6 months later i saw what i thought was my perfect van (5th van  ) an A class Hymer and got a good trade in price (and it sold the day after i did the swop).
