If anyone is planning on driving through Wexford on Thursday next week, (19th Oct) be aware that it is the opening of the Opera Festival. Wexford Quay will be closed to all traffic from 6pm to 8pm and The Bridge will be closed between 7pm and 8pm to facilitate the crowds watching the fireworks display.
