Locations to empty the cassette

If we are away for more than a few days ,it seems to be quite difficult to find
places where we are welcome to empty the cassette!!
Does anyone else find this?
Would a seperate list of this facility be a possiblity ??

I took the advice of others on the forum & bought a second cassette if stuck but haven't been away long enough yet to have need to use it.

Surely paying the few bob and staying on a site every few days would be worth it to empty the tanks. The nearest thing we've done to "wild camping" is Carlingford and it's well worth the money (€10).

If you have the MHC app you should be able to see the nearby Aires, failing that you might need to do a camping stop every now and then.

I don't have experience with camping sites but I've read that they might not allow you to service unless you overnight. Again, not sure how true/false that is.

Cheers,
Rami

A fold up spade, a little clump of trees or like and a walk on the wild side.

2nd cassette waste tank and pub loos during the day!
Plenty green fluid in the first tank!
Rarely require second tank these days -shorter trips and no "I've a wee" children anymore..... managing them is easier now with electronic bank transfers....you just have to keep transferring vast sums to their accounts!!

There's no doubt a 2nd cassette is the answer. I've had one for years now and never had a problem.

Nooooo.

Find a public loo and carefully deposit contents in bowl, wipe down and flush, it is after all designed to receive such effluent 8-)

How do think they used to get best fruit in Ireland around the orchard county before we had all these chemical fertilizers.

Just make sure that you disguise the vessel, pop it into a black bag or something else so joe public doesn't see, what's up.
Interesting I got caught on Rinroe beach two years ago for a third night due to family protests and the small spade was used to extend our loo.
Both opinions have merit but the little spade is a last resort plus the hole needs to be 2 foot deep.

A very common practice in France when no chemicals are used. They just put back into nature what they took in the first place.

Have a sog system fittted on MH and it works a treat in France. With no chemicals they have no problem with it being emptied in any toilet, or as stated previously dig a hole and back to nature if a toilet can't be found. Never had to use this method abroad, but came close at home. Always carry a second cassette, just in case

It can be tricky but i have found that if you pass a campsite pop in and ask them. Usually if you give them a few pounds they will let you empty your toilet cassette with them. Or get a second cassette if you are doing a longer period away from campsites.

We use a shopping bag on wheels. Put a plastic bag inside, put the cassette into the bag also room for 2l water bottle, then off to the nearest public loo. The idea we got from this forum.

That's why I refuse those man scent testers in supermarkets, it causes no end of problems when all you want to do is empty the cassette
