Motorhomes getting a bad rap on Facebook due to alleged inconsiderate parking across bays & blocking disabled access in recent years. At least they have set up dedicated motorhome parking. It was seeing Motorhomes at the show last year that put the idea of getting one in my head. I see someone has asked if you can stay overnight on the Friday night. Event is this Sat.

It's the usual abusers and complainers, why should motorhomes be allowed to park etc, they don't consider that some have a blue badge and a legal right to park in certain places! Some give us a bad rap by inconsiderate Parking.

We used the dedicated parking in Donard last year and will be possibly using it this year also

Great job, hopefully see some craicers about as I missed he Scarva meet. Probably won't be there until Saturday morning. Hadn't realised when I posted that they have had that dedicated motorhoming spot for a few years.

Was a lot of them parked near the kids play parklast year. I had a military vehicle there & it was a good job a bay was kept clear to let me onto the grass area for the display I was involved in.

Go into Donard park as if heading for the youth centre, the main carpark will be either closed for static displays or just for cars. The ones parked along by the playpark and the small car park at the bottom of the prom are the two main areas which people complain about

Ha, Sprinter so you saw the Jeep in previous years. I probably spoke to you in the past if you stopped to ask questions. Had the Dodge troop carrier there last year. It's a bit to big to park on the pavement near the water park where the Jeep usually goes so it was on a grass area near the playpark.

Far Controller, if taking the motorhome I was planning on getting into Donald Park via Shan Slieve drive as the Facebook post suggests. Very handy for me coming from Newry. In previous shows I scooted off in the Jeep during the Red Arrows to beat the traffic.

I was there today from about 11am -4.30pm. Legged it before the traffic got bad. A lot of people seemed to head off after the arrows & more gearing up to go after the Battle of Britain flight. Was very pleased with the dedicated motorhome parking. Very handy for a quick escape. Got stuck I the traffic a few years ago & swore never to leave it so late again.
