Stopover for train into Dublin

We are arriving at Dublin by ferry next week and were going to stay at Howth for 2 or 3 nights and get the train into Dublin and have a look around locally, but with all the hassle there seems to be about staying overnight and parking for motorhomes now I'n not so sure.
Greystones is on the app but I have read reviews on here that the station car park is a no go area now and also the other car park there, I don't really want to park on the street in front of peoples houses.
Apart from these places is there anywhere else that is near a station within about an hours journeys into Dublin
Thanks

Yes we over nighted a few times in the last Motorhome which was less than 6.5 m with out any problem, the current one which is nearer to 8m is just a little too long for the bays

Yes you are on holiday and Enjoy , there is another campsite north of Dublin at Rush with a bus service into Dublin but I don't know how frequent it is , the site is on a nice beach close to shops pubs and restaurants
