Touring Spain September October this year.

Hi Folks,
Im planning on touring in Spain this September and October and looking for good campsites near the sea with some entertainment on site if possible.
I intend to travel down as far as Allicante on that coast possibly.
I would appreciate any information.

We don't tend to use campsites, but if you're going in Sept/Oct it would be worth your while buying the ACSI card and book that allows you reduced prices off season. There are loads of campsites in Spain that give discounts if you have the ACSI card. There's also a huge number of aires in Spain now, and although many are in small villages, I guarantee you will not be short of entertainment even if you don't speak the lingo. Think of small villages in Ireland and you won't be far wrong.

I guess in the Alicate area you will find plenty of amusement, especially since sleeping in your motorhome in Spain is legal anywhere you're allowed to park.
Spanish aires are listed at Areasac. Lots of other good places where you may park and sleep at Furgoperfecto

Friends of ours winter in their caravan on the Marjal Guardamar site near Alicante. It is a big site with spa, restaurants, entertainment etc. They say there is always something going on. Although their caravan is permanently sited there, it is also a touring site.
