In the Republic of Ireland, with two UK Flogas 11kg cylinders, one empty. Will Irish Flogas Propane cylinders fit my connecting pigtails?

Most hardware stores are now stocking the 11 kg propane as they have became very popular with builders.

If necessary a new pigtail shouldn't be too expensive , Calor is different pigtail I don't know about Flogas

UK pigtails will not fit Irish cylinders

You will need a new pigtail as the connection is totally different

Thanks to all replies. It looks like I'll have to buy some Irish pigtails. Am going to try Barry's of Bantry and James Lyons of Bantry tomorrow.

CalorGas and Flogas are the same size fitting in Ireland but a larger size than that used in the United Kingdom. The size used in Spain is identical to Ireland as I change my bottle but not my regulator when I am down there.

Are NI FloGas Propane fittings the UK or ROI type? Should I get a new bottle before crossing the border or can I make a saving by getting them up there?
