Have checked the App but not much info regarding Mountshannon yet,

I have stayed there before, lovely and quiet. Petrol station not far away, a couple of dining options and Keane's is a fine pub. There's a good butcher and a larger shop in Scariff also. People are very friendly in Mountshannon.
