Does anybody know what the story is with parking a Motorhome overnight when staying on Arran islands, and what the availability is like. Any good spots nearby for wild camping on the return night
Any advice appreciated
David

I stayed in the car park near the pier a few years back .
Can't remember how much it was but it was only a few euro .
There is a toilet nearby , not the cleanest but does the job .

do you know the area at all? about 15 minutes down the road is a small area called 'Minna' - there's a number of small roads that come of the main road back towards galway city that would be ideal for wilding, right by the sea... or even here: https://www.google.ie/maps/@53…312!8i6656

Can't recommend it first hand - but had a little look and that's what I've come up with :)

No I'm not familiar with the area at all, but that looks like an ideal spot alright. Now that I know there are a few options I can travel up fairly confidently. Thanks for having a look around the area, and for letting me know.
Much appreciated
Dave
