Hi silly me put this in the wrong post , has anyone ever stayed in rossnowlagh Donegal is so is it worth going to many thanks

Yes, stayed st the park before you enter but I think height barriers now in situ.
There is a place for touring vans across from the shop ..... but I've found it MH unfriendly so don't bother going there at all.

Hillton9 I grew up within 5 miles from Rossnowlagh. It all depends on what you are looking for. There's a super strand and great waves for surfing and great area for walking. If you have children I'm not sure they would appreciate it. There is the Sand House Hotel which is very good and has a bar. That's really about all in the place. If you are keen on scenery, walking etc or surfing then it's super. I hope you get my drift.

Jack nailed it on the head, as only a local could! I love Rossnowlagh beach for a bit of surfing and a stroll, but no not very MH friendly!

Stayer several times,outside the car park,on problem,have been there in the summer with lots of vans parked.

Hillron9 I'm sorry to have to say this but I think you are wise and I come from there. By all means drop in and see it and enjoy the scenery but then move on as I do and I was born and bred in that area.

Looks like a beautiful spot. I see cars parked on the strand on google earth. Has anyone ever overnighted on the strand itself?

There is a lovely Caravan park in Rossnowlagh now Just off the Beach
