Have a look at this The Lough Boora inn 53.230133, -7.729587. about 1 hour from Mullingar leaving you with 1/2 hr to journeys end at Aglish,
We have stayed in the car park I presume it wouldn't be difficult to drink a couple of pints. There are lovely walks around Lough Boora Parklands about 1k down the road.

Terryglass is your spot Jack,
10 mins to Tristan in the morning
And the nicest pint and food in Paddys bar which is 5 mins safe walk away from the MH,

Have a safe one

By the way Terryglass is on the app

That's great Jack. Mad Max has good advice. I've stayed at Terryglass and had a meal in Paddy's. You won't go wrong.

Terryglass seems ideal for us so I'll go for that and have a meal there.
