Welcome to the Bluegrass And Nashville Dunfanaghy Festival

We are assembling a top line-up of Bluegrass musicians, as well as multi-talented Nashville inspired bands. The festival will be taking place in the charming village of Dunfanaghy, surrounded by the awe-inspiring scenery of Donegal.

We are starting our tour of Ireland from this festival. I have emailed the organisers to update me on tickets and parking, will post whatever reply I get.

Correct but alas, no facilities for tanks/fresh water, only parking and a fab beach beside u. V nice short walk to village, either on tarmac or by beach, need light at night as no public lighting a car park yet. Safe and quiet as anywhere else. WWW /Ireland needs to get with it and supply facilities nationwide, more visitors invited but poor facilities. Create new aires, look at continent!
Proper facilities available at Marble hill campsites (Johnston's/Algeo's) and Corcreggan hostel as of march 17. Bord Failte wake up!

Parked at the beach during the blues fest no probs finding your way home in the dark stick to the tarmac there was also portaloos and bins for rubbish so I can't see it being any difference for the bluegrass and I was p....d at the blues fest might go to this fest

Just seen on the festival website there are something like 30 groups performing over the weekend. All the gigs are free except for 4 x ticketed groups like Niall toner who is brilliant, 10 euros for him and other more established groups. You can also pay 25 euros for a weekend ticket which gives you entry to all 4 x ticketed gigs, so it's up to yourself. Pay nothing and miss the ticketed ones and just follow your nose round the pubs etc, or 50 euros for everything.
