Just wondering what is the procedure for re-registering a converted vehicle as a campervan. What criteria do I need to meet??

First off your location would help.

Changing your vehicle use on the log book could be the least of your troubles. I believe that getting an insurance policy on a van conversion has got very difficult because of the need of engineer reports, gas inspections, etc. . I am based in the Republic and when we purchased camper insurance 2 years ago the broker sent out a 6 page document consisting of every conceivable part and appliances been listed and inspected. Thankfully we had purchased with a dealer and they sorted it out. In short check insurance out first. Best of luck

Hi, did you ever get an answer? I’m building an iveco daily camper and all the rsa revenue information I can find is useless and totally unhelpful. Why can’t they just have a well laid out list “you require x,y and z” to meet the requirement.
