After all this talk of heavy snow fall blah blah blah I have come to the conclusion that the supercomputer the met office put in at a cost of dear know how many millions, would have been best set up on a sinclair zx80. I have been waiting for days for the white stuff to arrive and so far nothing not a drop, heavy frost - yes but no snow. FFS I have a 4wd and want to play

Seriously though it means that as of the moment no snow for Thompsons big weekend = making it easy to get to. If there is a fall of snow I will let everyone know what the roads are like out round that way.

No snow in Letterkenny at 7.15 this morning but by 8.00 am it was snowing and by 8.30 am there was about 1.5 to 2 inches ( a nice covering )
But when I got into town centre at 8.45 there was less (lower ground)
This evening there are little bits of snow and sleet here and there - a hard frost could make things interesting in the morning

It has a cold feel about it :-)

We are in Limavady and there was a light covering of snow this morning.
We had a few heavy snow showers during the day but nothing lying now.

Is it snowing now?

I'm too lazy to look out the window or check Facebook.

We had a heavy fall around 9.30 this morning for about 20 mine. About 4cm.
As we are in the sticks, no gritting. It cleared to a degree, but still many icy areas on out road.
About 2 mile drive in either direction to get to gritted roads, that is if Carrickfergus council have bothered there arse to do so.
Fingers crossed if there is more that it has cleared in time for us to get out.
Won't be at Magheralin til 7.30/8.00 as I have a job booked in at 5.30 ish. 🇧🇭
New customer, so didn't want to turn it down
