Hoping to spend a bit of time around Scotland, maybe in the Spring.
Don't want to stay on campsites. Would prefer free or up to £10/night.
Is there a map like ours available anywhere?

To be honest I'm not sure but Scotland was very MH friendly when I went although I spent most of the time in campsites there was loads of wild camping available it just didn't meet my needs when I was there. Ferrys to the islands were reasonable and accommodated MH too

I use Britstops & Wildcamping.co.uk. Never been stuck for a place to overnight.

Wildcamping.co.uk.for me used on our 10 day trip to Scotland and only stayed in one campsite

i use search for sites https://www.searchforsites.co.uk/ just drag the crosshair to where your going and hit the search for sites button .I have the poi's for wildcamping in my satnav and found nearly every layby i passed in Scotland is listed as a wildcamping spot .

Thanks for all the responses.
We're not big fans of wild camping, unless there would be other mh's there too.
l came across a post about a list of stopovers in Scotland by someone in the group, but when I tried to open it, it said I had to ask permission from the poster, which I did, but no response yet & I can't find the post again

We are off to Scotland at the end of May for 10 days, hopefully won't be eaten by midge, btw heard Avon's skin so soft is a great midges repellent. Recommended by Lonely Planet.

Check out the Avon 'skin so soft' . I believe there are two versions of it available. Can't remember which is the one believed to be effective. Haven't used it myself.

Think it's the original dry oil Skin So Soft that's needed.
