This comes as an additional option on a model I'm considering. Is it worthwhile having it.

Only if you plan using it for skiing trips :D
But people often leave the tap open with a bucket underneath if out in sub zero temperatures.

Some MH's have a heated waste tank as standard but I wouldn't order one as an optional extra.

Thanks for that baguette. I definitely wouldn't be planning on going skiing but wasn't sure it was worthwhile for our local winters. It cost an extra £220.

Apparently I've,got one. From early years. I'm new to this
It's to do with the double floor and why it was paid for in years gone by

I can't imagine a situation where we in Ireland would ever benefit from having a heated waste water tank. We've been as low as -6 and never a bother. On the other hand £220 would put a lot of miles up.

Not always, mine is heated by air from the Truma system, it's got a double wall with the warm air between the two.
