A common fault on ageing Hymers is the moving dash or body? The wooden dash is part of the structural integrity of the Hymer body. It anchors the body to the dash at a higher point than the chassis. Moisture from a leaking windscreen and intrrnal condensation running down from the windows runs onto the plywood and rots the dash.
