I stayed here this week.
A brilliant site, owner a really nice guy, very helpful and friendly.
Toilets and showers were immaculate and really spacious.
Wi fi was ok and is free, pitches spacious.
My only negative comment is that I hate piped music in the toilets, apart from that it was the best site I have stayed on and the owners should be very proud of what they have achieved.
I shall return, great value for 9 euro.

For a motorhome we have plenty of space at present. All pitches have 16amp EHU, we do charge extra for EHU (€3 per night) but no other extra charges for showers, wifi etc. But please note we don't have the ability yet to empty toilet cassettes, we have plenty of water points and a drive over grey drain.
If you want me to hold a space best to pm, or email, or text, 085 836 7324.
Regards Jamie

Just had a look. If I go to the review section and search 'strandcamping' my review is not there. If I search 'strand camping', my review is on that one, on the one that you started. The other review is one that 'Digger' started. Initially when I posted my review, I did the same as Digger, I started a new review completely rather than adding it on to your original one if that makes sense? Maybe it's possible for Admin to combine yours and Diggers?

Thanks I will ask ally if he can get them combined as the others are a bit dated now.

Fantastic spot. I wish Jamie and Amanda continuing success. They have thought of everything including squeegees in the shower. Any one with a wet room should consider these. I hadn't but will do. Great to meet fellow craicers there, Raglan Road, And as I was leaving a contractor was installing retractable sides to the covered area to restrict winds and provide a much more usable social area, next to the campers kitchen. Jamie with his local knowledge recommended that I take the route less travelled and head down the less tourist route to Loophead and recommended the Bridge of Ross which isn't even on the WAW. Spectacular. amazing sunsets, a worthy visit

I was going to say something about Wind and toilets but I think discretion wins this one.

Agree with the positive reviews here, we stayed there in June and loved it. Best shower block we've experienced, and I didn't mind the music- I think it was local radio (ClareFM) when we were there. Hospitable hosts, spacious pitches, reasonable prices, and a great village nearby. Add to that the fab views and coastline and it's a winner. Only negative is some bozo owns a golf club nearby :D :D

Plenty have, mainly by the local boat who does the fishing trips from the pier but others have done well in kayaks and from some of the cliffs.
