inside of fridge is yellow

the inside of my fridge has nasty yellow patches,i have tried to clean it but it wont budge,does anyone have any ideas how to remove it.

The fact the plastic has tarnished it may be near impossible to get it back to white, if you clean it thoroughly at least you know its clean.

Asked exact same question to a dealer today except it's inside bathroom cabinets and got the exact same answer

Buy a spray from halfords and spray it, I did and it worked a treat and lasted years :up:

When you say a spray, Deirdre, do you mean paint or something else? If paint, did you use a plastic primer first ?

thanks everyone,someone told me to try white vinegar,so im off to buy some will tell you how i get on,ohh and my sister bought astonish household cleaner for her pvc to get rust of and it worked so if all else fails will try that

I heard someone say that the old type baking soda made into a paste and rubbed on the area affected works. I don't any any experience of it though.

Yes Jack it does work on stains.
Also try a tube of paste for cleaning dentures it works well on plastics

If you can't remove the stains, change the interior bulb to a coloured led one such as blue or green, you know that the fridge has been cleaned and perhaps the colour will distract or improve the aesthetics ambience when opening the fridge.
