foul smell when running the fridge on gas

Hi
when we run the camper fridge on gas we get a foul smell inside and outside, the fridge works fine, i notice a little blacking at the vent where the fridge exhaust is, so i am thinking it something wrong with the burner, i looked up the parts file (see attached)

my question is should i change the valve part 110 or the burner part 108?

any advice welcome

Get it checked out ASAP with an approved gas fitter. Take no chances with it.

Make sure you have plenty of gas in the cylinder aswell,

I had a similar problem I ran out of gas which was propane and the new cylinder I bought was butane and even though the regulator fitted both there was black fumes coming out the breather I bought a butane regulator and it is now working fine

It's soot in the flue , causing that smell , possibly the wrong jet fitted . Do you ever drive with it on gas?
I do a load of these every year...

Thanks I cleaned the exhaust and the smell is gone. The camper was a self hire before I got it so it is possible the the gas was left on while driving

coola boola. what jet is in it? I see a lot of them running the wrong one.
