Skellig Michael is absolutely spectacular. However it is not for the faint hearted. Apart from a long exposed boat trip there is a very steep climb for several hundred feet, almost vertical, up rough unprotected steps. However, it is well worth it. There is a visitor and interpretive centre at Port Magee, where the boat leaves from.
