For Sale! - Xiaomi Mi Drone 4k

Almost brand new, with its original packaging, accessories and extras.

This is a direct competitor to the DJI Phantom 4 PRO at half of the price.

Only used 3 times by experienced pilot (me), works fantastic and has an amazing camera quality. Excellent app for the phone or table to program flights, Dronie modes, tracking, flight plans, etc.

As the name says, it does record in 4K at 30fps, also 1080 at 60fps (slow-mo) and 720 at 120fps (super slow-mo)

Also includes extra battery, extra propellers and travel bag in addition to the remote control, charger, cables and manuals, etc...

Price: €550 all included

Location: Cork

More Specs: http://www.mi.com/en/drone/

Cheers,
Rami

Looks great and I considered it, but I found it new online for around same price.

Maybe you need to add in how much the extras cost?

:/

Well, it's pretty much brand new and if you add the extra battery + the bag that's where the difference is.

Also, when buying online you normally have to import it from Asia to get the cheap price but that means at least 2 months waiting and extreme high chances on getting hit by customs, (it's a considerable sized box of electronics after all) which brings the price even higher.

So I figure that at my price point, you'll be saving money/time for sure. I would honestly have bought it locally myself at this price!

:)

I also considered it but it would be one of those one day wonder things as I dont think I would get enough use out of it to justify the price. There were one or two on here a while back considering buying including Jack the Rev so unless they have purchased prior they may be a good lead.

Yes, I would agree with you and it's definitely a tool-toy for the videographers. You will definitely need to spend some time after the trip editing and have some kind of plan on the back of your head.

To me, makes total sense and I love it... but sames as for the GoPros. I know a lot of people that bought them and took them out recording everything and now they just have terabytes of videos that they'll never watch again :P

Cheers lads!!!

I reckon everyone should chip in and buy it for MHC meet photos. I'll look after it 😇

In all seriousness, I am giving it thought. I'll think about it over the weekend

Be delighted to pass the torch to the boss man, do let me know if you have any questions. I'll be 100% honest, for work I used to fly DJI Phantoms and there's absolutely no difference with this one, in fact I think the camera is better and the drone itself is actually smaller than the Phantom 4. It can also pack flat as the camera gimble is removable and the landing gear folds to the sides.

Here's a few pics of our last weekend around Sneem / Derrynane area:

Cheers,
Rami

Well I was going to bring mine to Lough ree this weekend but that got cancelled unfortunately! A great drone.

Incidentally I got mine from Gearbest, was delivered in 2 weeks. People are not getting hit for customs according to a big discussion on another forum which is why I took the plunge. I paid €375 for it with a spare set of props. I ordered a spare battery, took 4 weeks delivery again from Gearbest, and I figured from what others were saying that this would get caught by customs and it did, so ended up costing me €83. Case on Amazon was €60. As they say if the price is right, it will sell. A fabulous drone for the money, good luck with the sale.

Flat pack is brilliant, bit cumbersome having the phantom 3 in the MH - and needing to hide it whenever I'm popping out!
