Nice!

My dad had one of these when I was a kid!

Do you have the dash gear lever with the L shape thingy where you pull/push to select the gears??

Yes RTV it has. It’s a completely original vehicle even down to not having a radio. I bought it in the South of France and has only 50,000 kilometres covered since new. Very original car have been looking for one for ages.

It’s a fantastic car 602 cc engine and yeah it’s an Ami 8 Smart Estate and it’s 1973 with 50,000 kilometres on it. It’s an original car.

Awesome! There's something about those gear levers that bring me back in time, love them.

The other funny thing that I just realized is that I've always called them AMI "ocho" (spanish for eight) and I kept reading "AMI ocho" through out the thread until I realized that you guys don't probably call it that in these parts of the world :P

... and if you really, really think about it, the real name must be AMI "huit" (french for eight).

Sprinter that could be a bit embarrassing as I’ve got quite a few. I could do with extending the shed really? 😝

There is a project for your retirement , The Little Citroen Museum . You could look for a tourist grant , maybe add an Aire on the side , ( that is, if anyone goes back to work ) , All of us , will support you.
Or since you have connections , a Gaeltacht grant might be bigger :D
