Guys, admin is aware of it and trying to solve it. I’m getting the same message as I’ve got some pics to put up. Be patient and they will solve it.

Both methods "add attahcment" and this one: forum/topic.php?t=15202 working for me, I am still investigating the errors on the latter.

This should be “KB” I assume.
On MB that file is massive.

It’s best to resize images down to 800x600 or smaller before upload as hi-res and zoom isn’t really a concern on the forums.

Resizing and cropping are not the same, resizing vastly reduces the file size and uses much less bandwidth and resources.
Cropping only cuts out bits and does not reduce the pixel size.

Resize where possible and you’ll have less issues.

Try this.

You can't natively resize an image in iOS, which is why downloading an app like Image Size is probably your best way to get that picture-perfect image size.

Download and install this ap. https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/image-size/id670766542?mt=8

1. Launch Image Size from your Home screen.

2. Tap the Image Icon in the upper right corner. It looks like a photograph.

3. Tap the image you would like to resize.

4. Tap Choose in the lower right corner.

5. Select your image resize option at the top of the page. You have options like pixel, millimeter, centimeter, and inch. You can manually add in size of your image as well.

6. Tap the Download button in the lower right corner to save your image resize.

Image Size will then automatically save the image to your camera roll.

A bit of a pain I know but should work for you guys.

Tom and Jon are correct.

The problem is with most people these days is they use phones and tablets, most folk have no idea what filesize their photos are. Some are amazingly big and without the millions of pounds of resources of the likes of imgr and facebook those images would break most servers, so webmasters and web hosters restrict the size you can upload.

There is no way around it except for you to resize your image and that is perfect advice from Tom & Jon, 800 x 600 is always a good web size.

I have seen folk trying to upload images that were over 50MB, this is just crazy!
