We just back from a few days in Switzerland. Just a flight over, 2 nights in Zurich before moving down to Grindelwald for 3 nights. While myself and my wife would consider ourselves to be well prepared travellers we got caught.
The Swiss have their own electricial domestic socket and from the photo you can see 3 pins mounted into a diamond shaped plastic insert. Because of this insert, the pins of a European round socket are not long enough to made contact. An uk/irl conversion to swiss style was €20. Thankfully we had brought our euro round socket and a swiss to euro conversion was only €4.
This probably will not affect MH because outdoor sockets are different.
