At Calnegre at the moment, yesterday not a cloud in the sky, shorts and t shirt on, 20 degrees. Overnight it dropped to just above zero. Today sun all around again. Not to bad.

Not a cloud here today either or yesterday morning,Weird its so different 35khp winds here now and 8 degrees. Just checked Benidorm Alicante , 12 deg and 35khp winds , Cartegena showing the same as I was on net this morning looking for a warmer spot to move to for a few days so you got a real jammy warm spot. :) For sure no one around this area been in shorts for a few days lol. Spanish are like bank robbers around the market today with padded coats scarfs around mouths and wolly hats :D

Camping Playa da Mazarron in Bolnuevo. €400 per 30 days inc. ehu, each pitch has own water and grey connection, so no need to be moving the MH.
On the beach, busses outside the gate. Local €1.15, Murcia €10 return, Cartagena €6.75 return.

Enjoy. Sounds nice, I'm heading south in a day or so. I'm not good at staying in one place for long but I can completely understand those that do.

I'm away for 4 months and yes it is great. Followed by 8 months without a day off work, it's a balance.

No bother at all, just make sure you have the return timetable and know remember where the bus station is. And don't forget to get a return ticket, it saves quite a few Euro.

We use "Via Michellin" it works out the best route, toll costs and fuel costs.

The non toll once you get into Spain is great unlike France. FRANCE is slower non toll but not bad roads altogether . Just head down la rochelle . Bordeaux then coast to Spain or somport tunnel.but check.its open as it can be closed at times with weather.
Tolls are cheaper in spain also

Makes me long for a coffee and a good Spanish brandy. But just for noting ,on the French motorways you are class 2 (the same as vans) up to 3,5 tonnes and class 3 if over. On Spanish motorways you are classed as a car , this is why the big difference.

In France you usually get class two at automatic toll booths unless you break the three metre height sensor. At manned booths its usually class two unless you have a tag or double wheels at the back.

There is usually no way to know the GVW of a vehicle is more than the 3,500kg limit for class two.

If the class three charge comes up on an automatic booths, press the help button and say Je suis un camping-car classe deux s'il vous plaît and the charge is normally changed back to class two.

Now a Tipperary accent saying that at a toll booth would be interesting 😉

What do you think Pat😂
