Up graded the Dragons car and advertised the old one on Done Deal,
11 fecking yo yo's to place the add,
It was ok at €3 then it went to €5, but i think its taking the p**s at €11

Have not placed a camper add in a few years, does anybody know what they charge for it now a days?

Whats your view on it?

I have been looking on donedeal lately for 1 or 2 items but their search engine is rubbish. Firstly you get the high lighted ads, then dealer sponsor ads and then half of the ads are totally irreverent to your request. It will end up like the buy&sell paper.

€5 The last time I used it too John, that increase is even worse than the shower in Lisdoonvarna with the Motorhome Parking. 🇧🇭
How is it calculated? Surely they don't charge €11 for the freebies adverts.

I have no idea how they calculate it Pat but i can see something similar starting soon as competition if them prices dont drop.

I had noticed that he who pays most will get shown first Malcolm,

Have you used adverts before? For me - done deal has been in steady decline for a while now!

Despite all of the warnings about nuisance enquiries on Donedeal, I have sold a Camper within 48 hrs (paid for a Spotlight add) and an A-frame that didn't sell on MHC. Could have sold both items multiple times over. A couple of people wanting to offer their car in part exchange (2010 Nissan Note and a 2014 Seat FR) which I politely declined but apart from that it was a breeze.

Selling a car may be different though.

Always had a good response with Donedeal but will check out adverts.ie

I remember years ago Autotrader hiking their prices way up, didn't do them much good. But its the same old story.........

usedcarsni.com was great and then everyone wanted on the band wagon, UTV, Belfast Telegraph to name a very few who started car selling websites! saturated and diluted the market - some people can't see sh*t and they want a piece of it.
