Now that nearly all new motorhomes come without CDs what is the best way to listen to your favourite songs and albums on the road Edd

Just your phone or MP3 player with a 3.5mm phono lead from it straight into the radio. I skipped the CD bit by taking the cassette tape radio out of my 1998 Moho & put a modern one it. Just mount my phone on the dash & usually listen to music podcasts.

I went on eBay and bought a phono lead for the back of my 08 Transit based motorhome.

Wife has something called Spotify, where she downloads lots of music and now plays it through the stereo.... But she is a bit younger than me :-)

Maybe I'm old fashioned but pop a cd into the dvd of the tv while driving and give the kids the remote, over time you will find that what the kids will listen to, are the timeless classic that are your favourites. However the downside is you have to endure their selection of cd.
I often find that when sitting in the back the music on the radio cannot be heard properly but when on the tv everyone can hear it perfect.

Google Play Music and two bluetooth speakers. Small one and a larger one, usually use the small 'Bose Mini Link' one so not to disturb any of those weird folk that don't like music :)
