I'm not 100% sure but I think that very recently sky have changed the transponder frequency used to get a fix on auto systems + a lot of other changes to counteract the CS that was going on.

In the 12 years that I've had an Oyster satellite system, there have been quite a few transponder changes for Astra 2, but NOT one for Astra 1, or even Hotbird.

I find this annoying, but, of course, it isn't Oyster that's to blame, although their original doucumentation makes no mention that future transponder changes might affect it . It simply states enjoy satellite tv, at the press of a button!
Still, all the other systems have this problem too, as far as I'm aware.

Oh for the days of a basic system with an Ariel that you pointed in some direction. This stuff just winds me up and I would prefer not to,have TV than all,the hassle.
