Photobucket 3rd party hosting

For any of you that use Photobucket for 3rd party hosting, Theres bad news...

Photobucket have changed their T&C's and now you'll need to pay an excessive annual fee to host your photos.

This goes for most of my coachmen rebuild photos too, I believe they are no longer showing on the thread now...

A bit of a deuchebag move from Photobucket, but it is what it is... The free hosting site is no longer free..

Personally, I have started downloading all 30 odd of my photobucket albums and I intend to close my account with photobucket just as soon as I have them saved.

Slightly off but Photobucket.com has caused complete mayhem on Autosleeper forum taking over almost everybodys entries.
It is almost impossible to read any entries with loads of different ways to get rid of it, everybody who used photobucket has now scrapped their connections

Bugger..... have loads of pics on photobucket.

Yeah, me too.

Hopefully they'll cave in to user backlash and eliminate or drastically reduce the proposed €400 yearly fee.

Having had a quick look on line, it looks like Flickr may be the way to go as it offers 1Tb of storage for free!

Dropbox ?

maybe buying a domain with hosting from one of the many companies out there.
www.123reg.co.uk is very good, it's a good solution to permit us to link pictures to a 3rd party forum/site like this one.
I have an old esatclear account with 1GB storage space that I'm using for that function although you cannot sign up for that anymore.

It has a limit on the amount you can store, as well as that I havent used my Dropbox account for sometime and have found they closed it due to inactivity.

I only found this out this morning...

It seems Photobucket have reversed their decision about third party hosting. They have reinstated the free hosting service. Countless blogs across the globe make sense once again now that the supporting photos have returned!

I just checked some of my old photos that were hosted by photobucket and they're back. (doesn't include the Coachmen thread unfortunately :-( )

Apparently the Senior executives responsible for the fiasco no longer work for Photobucket, and the company is now doing their best to win back the account holders who left in droves...

Go figure.

I wonder how long it'll last or what they have hiding up their sleeve...
