Has anyone done the Connor Pass on the Dingle Peninsular in a motorhome of 6 metres length?

I have gone over in my sprinter from Dingle, there are warning signs and I did see some suspicious lumps of white metal on the rock face ,on my right. near the top .
I wouldn't chance it the other way ,you wouldn't know on what bend you might meet some lunatic ( in a white sprinter ) coming the other way . :D

Pfft. I want to try it tomorrow.. heigth 2.60 meters... My Ordnance official Road Atlas for Ireland (1:210.000) does not give a max. May be I'll check first at the Dingle Tourist Office.

Doing connor pass in a left hand drive is very wise as the driver will be beside the rock faces and should see the protruding pieces. The passenger will have to watch for the oncoming traffic. From your profile picture, you camper seems to be no bigger than an Irish builders van.
If you are going to do it, go early due to a poor weather forcast for tomorrow afternoon.
Best of luck

If you go over from Dingle you won't have a problem , my sprinter is 2.7mtr.
Why would you go the other way? You would miss The South Pool inn.
Ireland's connection to the Antarctic.

My mobile connection isn't good enough to show the video, but I found pictures of road signs giving a 1.80 max width. That would be a no go for my 2.20 meters

Thanks, Peter. Googled the road sign and found them. Will give it a miss and just do the rest of the Dingle. Thanks for your help.

Travelled from Castlegregory to Dingle via Connor pass last year 2016 in my 6m Ducato conversion. No problems just keep well to the right towards the top to avoid over hanging cliff face. Some obviously didn't.
