Campsites around Dublin

Hi
Looking for campsites around Dublin. From doing a google search there seems to be very little choice with most pointing to Camac Valley. Does anyone have any knowledge of others or would that be it without being quite a bit north or south of the city.

Cheers

Carnac Valley is the only campsite in Dublin. Wildcamping is popular in Howth and the train brings you into city centre.

Yes the one in Rush is called "North Beach". We used it as our main site when we had a caravan as it is right on the beach with bar a 5 min walk along the beach. Train to Dublin is about 10 drive min away. http://www.northbeach.ie It has an area just for Motorhomes with the rest being for caravans, another area just for tents & then statics out the back. I have only just got my motorhome & NI Reg arrived today so don't know if any lesser charge for Motorhomes but I assume not. EHU is optional. Drive over waste disposal.

Hi guys thanks. I had, had a look at North Beach but to many restrictions eg no awnings etc so wouldn't work for us. Thanks for the help!

Camac Valley was fairly reasonably priced (and had big pitches) when we were there and has a bus stop outside into the city...

Stayed on this site several times nice site well located stopped using it as you must leave the site by 11am or 12 or else pay for another night.

There's Roundwood. It is Wicklow though so maybe too far from Dublin for you?
