Campsite recommendation

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to this forum, its a wealth of information and everyone is very helpful. I'm hoping to buy a camper in the near future and as my wife and I have a week off in June we have decided to hire a VW T5 camper for a week, just to give it a go before we buy.
The plan is to stay in Howth for two nights while we go to a concert and we have a few days to spare before we are going to another concert at the marquee in Cork.
I'm looking for recommendations of a very good campsite between Dublin and Cork, along the coast would be nice.
As its our first trip in a camper and it may help us to decide if we buy or not, I want this trip to make a good impression.
Any advice for a safe place to stay in Cork after the concert would be very helpful also.

Any help r advice would be greatly appreciated.

A nice one on the coast is Morris Castle, beautiful beach there.

Cobh outside cork there's a train runs into cork regularly

The guide above is only for sites registered with failte Ireland and for those that pay ICCC. I was quoted €1000 to be in this guide which is not a viable option for me instead I'm in http://www.caravanandcampingireland.com/ so you may want to look at both guides. That said personal recommendations carry a lot of weight. But what sort of campsite are you looking for peace and quiet, near pubs restaurants, near attractions, large or small etc etc. Once you have a shortlist see if you can find some reviews etc.

Ferrybank in Wexford within walking distance across the bridge. Do you need campsites only.
If the T5 has all the facilities ie, toilet,shower,cooking. there are lots of wild camping sites along the coastal route to Cork.
Also you can check if there is any facilities provided near the Marquee, you may not want to travel very far after the concert

A lot of campsites are on our App and can be seen for free along with Aire's etc

We don't charge campsites, bars, business's to go on the App so you get a better choice and can add any campsite you wish.

Anyone can do it, but only at the minute if you are on Android, the Add Poi and Add review doesn't work on iOS. But hopefully will very soon, Paul is working on it this week.

Yes I was aware of that.. I intended posting both links I have them on my bookmarks, but then my broad band started acting up so I just submitted the post as was with the intention of adding the other later today . But work got in the way and was not able to log on till now.

Moneylands Farm Arklow, Ardmore Aire which is on the beach adjacent to the villiage and Cobh Aire are all on your intended route. Cobh Aire is beside the train station and would be very suitable for overnight for the Cork concert. Trains travel frequently between Cobh and Cork , but you would need to check the last departure time from Cork. Have a good time.
