Hi,

Looking at safe overnight parking near the GAA grounds if possible, for the potential Dublin game on the June bank holiday weekend.

Somewhere safe pubs and restaurants would be good with a bit of space as there will be 2 motorhome loads :)

Many thanks as always.

Hi mate, moved this, might get a better response here :)

Also - could always try phone ahead to a pub and check! :)

Clonard church beside the park has a big car park with no barrier. Have never noticed any Motorhomes there though. Also lidl is only a five minute walk from the park, and there is a pub a five minute walk away with a chipper beside it

you are only about 2 .5 km from Ferrybank camping park , and even if you have had a few , the taxi fare cant be too outrages, spread a little around its always appreciated.
Its can also be a lovely evening walk back over the Bridge.

Thank you all for the suggestions.

Must admit I'm not a big fan of Irish campsites prefer to be in the centre of town, eat out etc and we don't require their facilities if just going away for 2 or 3 nights. I'll look at Ferrybank as it seems close by when the grounds are confirmed at the end of the month (it may be Portlaoise) if there are no other options, though I'm sure most sites are already booked out for the June bank holiday weekend.

Thanks again, very helpful as always :)
