Road works, Donegal/Tyrone border

If anyone is planning crossing to Donegal at the crossing at Strabane/Lifford there is major roadworks from Lifford roundabout towards Letterkenny....March 2017
Severe traffic disruption and long tailbacks can happen suddenly and often.
Road also muddy with roadworks.

I notice the N14 Lifford to Letterkenny is completely closed with diversions until 31st march. I have been through the roadworks a couple of times over the last few months.

Any one hazard a guess as to wether the works are almost complete? It was scheduled to finish at end of March, though these things can over run. Hoping to head that way in the next week or so.
