What are you getting?

A mobilvetta, should pick her up in April. The new van is 7.4m long so it'll take me a while to get used to it.🚐

Hi,
Just wondering how you are getting on with the Mobilvetta, we have ordered one and collect at the end of the month, any advice would be appreciated.

Are you getting your from Marquis or Anchorpoint?
If Marquis then test everything and I mean everything before you take it. I think mine was built on a Monday morning or Friday afternoon it had so many stupid faults, sorry too many to list. But I’m getting them resolved slowly.
That said I love the van and I’m very pleased with it overall.
Good luck.

Thanks for the reply, We are getting it from Anchor. Unfortunately it seems Marquis are a nightmare so we are grateful its the Anchor that we are dealing with. What kind of problems have you been experiencing? it would be handy to know before we take ownership in 3 weeks.

I’m glad you’re are getting yours from Anchorpoint, James and the team are great. Which model are you getting? I’ve got the 85.
Issues; fan in toilet not secure, turned it on and it fell and went through the fly mesh,
Passenger door electric window not working,
Oven didn’t stay lit,
Fridge door needed foot under it to close it,
Shower door miss aligned,
Rod vents open opposite way to instructions,
Some sockets up side down,
Window blinds hard to operate,
Water tank internal fitting not secure,
I could go on..
But a good PDI Would have picked most of this up.
Still a great van.
If you are ever this way pop in and I can discuss further. Mines in Devon at present getting some more issues sorted.

My mate bought the 80. Similar thing. Loads of little problems. Habitation door won’t open with key. Keep locking him out. Fresh water tank reading empty when full. Couple of internal lights not working. Shower door rattling. Many other bits. Bought in Germany

Goes to show you do need to buy van's from reputable dealers like Anchorpoint or Donaghy who will stand over their van's

My God, god love your patience.. That's disgraceful that you have had to deal with that amount of problems. We too are awaiting the 85 and yes we are thankful that we are dealing with James and the team. hes a pure gent. I hope you get all the problems sorted soon. Look forward to seeing you sometime in the future, thanks for the info.
